The Museo de Bellas Artes (Museum of Fine Arts) is a spectacular Baroque building housing art dating from the 14th to the 19th centuries. In contrast, Spain's first centre for modern art, the Institut Valencià d'Art Modern is home to a diverse mixture of installations and pieces from more contemporary times.
