Seville is perhaps the most famous city of Spain. It have been always a center of cultural significance and its valuable history dates back to an ancient almost legendary civilization, of Greek origin: the Tartesios that have left numerous valuable archaeological remains. The high fertility of its soil and its nice weather (with mild cold and nearly 3000 hours of sunshine a year), have also attracted to its shores other civilizations as the Phoenicians and their descendants, the Carthaginians, who also settled in this city. Later the Romans came as in several european places. Two Roman emperors, from among the most importantt in history, Trajan and Hadrian, were born in Seville.
