Conditions
AurigaCrown Car Hire vehicles can only be driven in Andorra, France (1), Gibraltar, the Balearic Islands (2), the Iberian Peninsula (2) and Portugal, and they must be returned back to our offices.
(1) France: it is possible to drive there by paying €7 per day for insurance, with a maximum of €50 per rental contract of maximum 30 days.
(2) Vehicles may not be transported from the Iberian Peninsula to the islands or vice versa or in any ferry going to the Balearic Islands, Ceuta or Melilla.
The rental price includes:
- Unlimited mileage.
- Insurance (no excess) except Ibiza (see conditions below).
- VAT.
- 24-hour roadside assistance.
- Inter-office drop-off if the rental is for 8 days or more.
- Airport taxes.
The rental price does not include:
Fuel policy
-At the start of the rental, you are asked to pay the amount of a full tank of fuel.
- If the rental is for three days or less, you will be charged a deposit for a full tank of fuel and at the completion of the rental, if the tank is returned full, you will be refunded the amount paid. In cases where the tank is not returned full, you will be charged a refuelling service charge of €15 in addition to the charge for the number of litres of fuel needed to fill the tank.
-If the rental is for 4 days or more, you will be charged the amount for a full tank of fuel and the vehicle should be returned with as little fuel as possible; there is no possibility for partial refunds.
-The fuel value is calculated according to the vehicle’s fuel capacity.
Baby seats
(Maxi-Cosi, baby seats and boosters), €3.50 per day with a maximum of €45.00 and a minimum of €18.00 per chair/rental.
Additional driver
€3.00 per day with a maximum of €42.00 and a minimum of €15.00 per driver/rental.
Interprovincial drop-off
€30.00 per rental if the rental is for 7 days or less.
SNOW CHAINS
€5.00 per day, maximum €35.00, to be subtracted from the original €50 deposit that will be taken. Only available in Gerona and Granada. No advance reservations.
Others
Traffic fines, tow truck fees, damage to glass, tyres, underbody, clutch (due to misuse), lost or broken keys, refuelling errors and associated costs…
(Our GENERAL CONDITIONS shall be applied, which are outlined on the front of our rental contract).
TYRES AND GLASS INSURANCE.
FOR ONLY €3.00 PER DAY (*), COVERS DAMAGES TO TYRES AND GLASS (**)
(*) €15.00 minimum per rental. Maximum €42.00.
AC-PLUS INSURANCE
FOR ONLY €5.00 PER DAY (*), COVERS DAMAGES TO TYRES, GLASS, CLUTCH, VEHICLE UNDERBODY AND KEYS (**)
(*) €25.00 minimum per rental. Maximum €60.00.
(**) Security deposit amounts to be deposited according to the type of optional insurance purchased:
-With the purchase of neither the TYRES AND GLASS or AC-PLUS insurance, €300 must be deposited.
-With the purchase of WHEELS AND GLASS insurance, €150 must be deposited.
-With the purchase of AC-PLUS insurance, no security deposit is needed.
Ibiza
INSURANCE CONDITIONS FOR IBIZA
For rentals in Ibiza, the insurance includes a deductible of:
-Groups (C, C1, D, D1): €300
-Groups (E, H, H1, J1, P): €500
-Groups (F, J2, N, I, L1, G, V): €700
INSURANCE WITHOUT A DEDUCTIBLE AND COVERAGE FOR DAMAGES TO TYRES AND GLASS
-Groups (C, C1, D, D1): €8.00 per day, minimum €40 per rental and maximum €96.
If you choose not to purchase this per day insurance, you must pay a mandatory €300.00 deposit.
-Groups (E, H, H1, J1, P): €10.00 per day, minimum €50 per rental and maximum €120.
If you choose not to purchase this per day insurance, you must pay a mandatory €500.00 deposit.
-Groups (F, J2, N, I, L1, G, V): €12.00 per day, minimum €60 per rental and maximum €144.
If you choose not to purchase this per day insurance, you must pay a mandatory €700.00 deposit.
INSURANCE WITHOUT A DEDUCTIBLE AND AC-PLUS DAMAGE COVERAGE
-Groups (C, C1, D, D1): €10.00 per day, minimum €50 per rental and maximum €120.
With this insurance, there is no obligation to pay any deposit.
-Groups (E, H, H1, J1, P): €12.00 per day, minimum €60 per rental and maximum €144.
With this insurance, there is no obligation to pay any deposit.
-Groups (F, J2, N, I, L1, G, V): €14.00 per day, minimum €70 per rental and maximum €168.
With this insurance, there is no obligation to pay any deposit.
Out-of-hours:
For all reservations that occur between 00:00 and 08:00, an additional €20 out-of-hours service charge applies. In the event that your flight is delayed and you come to pick up your vehicle between 00:00 and 08:00, this charge also applies.
Out-of-hours reservations will only be handled at our offices in Airport Terminals and La Linea. Your flight number is required.
Requirements
At the time of collection of the vehicle, the driver must present a credit card as payment exclusive.
We would like to inform you that from 22nd of July onwards, we will just accept for payments Visa and Master Card. Payments with American Express and Dinners Club will not be accepted. Of Course all bookings done before that date will be respected on previous conditions.
The minimum driver age is 25 years old and he/she must have been in possession of a driver’s for at least 1 year.
Drivers under 25 years of age must pay an additional premium at the rate of €5.00 per day, minimum €15.00 and maximum €50.00 per contract.
In the event that the additional premium is paid, drivers under 21 years of age may only drive vehicles of category C / C1 / D / D1 /E and J1.
