Car Hire Reus (REU)

Reus is one of the main airport serving the Costa Dorada, along Spain’s eastern coast. The resort towns of Salou, with it’s beautiful sandy beaches, and the famous PortAventura theme park are the main attractions of the area, although the World Heritage city of Tarragona are not too far away, as are Girona, Barcelona and Valencia.

The Costa Dorada is an ideal location for fun family holidays, with wonderful summer weather and a host of activities designed to entertain children. Aside from PortAventura, the second largest theme park in Europe, hiring a car will get you to the small zoo of Pescador Park in Cambrils, Aqualeón Aquatic park in Albinyana and the Aquopolis Aquatic Park in La Pineda. Failing that, who can resist building sand castles on one of the many soft sandy beaches, which are well served by the many cafes and restaurants.

If its history you’re after, then look no further than Tarragona with its rich Roman heritage, churches and museums all located within the city, perched next to the sea.

When renting a car at Reus airport, be sure to right size your vehicle to include plenty of room for the kids in the back and all your luggage. Familiarise yourself with the laws governing carrying children in cars, for example, no one under 12 can sit in the front (no matter how much they complain!), and be sure to book early to ensure you reserve the right vehicle for your trip.
